There is "Townsend Devin". But I doubt if he'll win against mighty Tokio Hotel and its Hellish Army Of Screaming Thirteen Year Old Girls - I predict they'll win, its just bad enough.

And though he`s a single person, he can be counted as a band, there are few "real" bands who are so versatile!

It's perfectly credible. Just has wrong name.

There is no best band in the world... Music is completely based on taste, and most bands are not comparable with eachother.

Indeed. You can't say there is one bast band in the world because no matter what band you put up there, someone will hate them...it is all taste and I must say, that we on this board have the best taste of all

...and that`s why we should vote - we have to teach the world some taste. Tokio Hotel, the Rasmus... surely that can`t be tolerated!

Gotta love all Rolling Stone's charts, like "best guitarists" or something, all of them (rankings, not guitarists) can be summed under one title "my favourite band", because all this lists are identical.

Of course... most people choose the guitarists, drummers etc. of their favourite bands, even if they know some better ones. These polls shouldn`t be taken too seriously, but it`s fun anyway.

Well, let's not begin about 'best musicians'. Kirk Hammet being chosen as best guitar player is just wrong, or even worse, Lars Ulrich being anywhere in the top 5000 of drummers... come on.

On the other hand, again, it's matter of taste, so impossible to make a 'best musician' list. What makes you a good musician? Songwriting, speed, technique, theory knowledge, or what about ... experience in the music business?
So at least, those lists should be called: Most liked musicians by randomly asked people.
