Very exciting to think that could reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. I hope it becomes a reality.

This just screams 'hoax' to me. An old guy who discovers the solution to three of the biggest problems: cancer, fossil fuels running out and CO2 pollution, at the same time, in his garage? :?

Yeah, i had a suspicion it might be. But the news interest in it made me believe!

Plus the experiment has been replicated at other University labs.

Stranger things have happened.

I'm sure this is just like everyone else who discovers a new source for burning fossil fuels by creating a cheaper and more effective means of fuel. They find the means but their idea never becomes a reality due to petrol companies buying their ideas out and smashing any hope of us using the idea.

If this idea did work, and im sure it does. We'd see the end of petrol for good and that would leave a very big mark over petrol companies around the world, more so in America since they own the most petroleum in the world and would do anything to keep selling it to the general public.

There is means to burn safer and less polluting fuels, but giant oil and petroleum companies always find the way and the means to destroy the competition.

I think in the past oil companies have bought up patents for cleaner fuels ... but now some oil companies see see $$$ in 'Going Green', which is why they're destroying indonesian rainforest to plant palm oil crops.

But with this Burning Water thing, I think the information has already been passed out into the scientific community, and I hope this means it can't be bought and buried.

What will be interesting though if if you need a swimming pool sized tank to power a car

if you think about it, even if you needed huge quantities of water to get a lot of fuel, it'd still end up in cleaner fuels. Imagine you could build a better electric motor car, and get it plugged for reloading at home with way way cheaper salt-water based energy :D
