Greetings all,

As some of you may know I'm an avid support of Australia's local metal scene, I've been supporting it for the past 7 years by attending as many shows as possible, utilizing my photography skills to both help support any band and make a contribution to my portfolio, plus I'm a supporter of a local public metal radio station which is called, Screaming Symphony.

Recently a mate's band of mine was written up in the states newspaper, "The Herald Sun". They have been in the metal scene for the past 20 years and have had raging success here and overseas. They go by the name of Eyefear and they are sanonamus with epic progressive metal hits and ballads. The lead singer is well known for his high vocal range an epic sound, plus his hair reaches his toes.

He conceals it pretty well. I saw him last week and he had it tide up, but it must have taken him about an hour to do all that.

There was a pic of him (I believe its on their Myspace) where he was in a San Fransisco diner and you couldn't see anything, he was wearing a beanie but hide his hair that well that it didn't even protrude out of the beanie. lol!

When I talked to him after the Blind Guardian show he mentioned to me that it took him 16 years to grow. Ive been growing my hair for the past year and its just touching my shoulders...so I have along way yet.

You gotta figure that hair grows, on average, half an inch per month, so that's six inches a year, which makes sense for Danny, factoring in any trimming along the way. I've been growing my hair, without so much as a trim, for about 5 years, and it still isn't long enough.
