There's a virus going about that launches itself through MSN Windows Live mesenger. It happened to a friend earlier I was talking to, but my anti-virus caught it (and it looked dodgy anyway).

Anyway it posts a message as if from a friend you know that says "OMG, i found ur pic cuteornot.com! im not kidding either!!!"

And then tries to send you a file that might be called "img71_s1_jpeg".

Do not accept it, and advise your friend they have the virus as they won't see it on their msn screen.

It can also say:

"look at the hair on this kid. WOW"

and send a file called "pic_855_JPG"

Basically the file sent looks like a folder, which has an exe virus.

Anything that looks dodgy and out of place like that, keep an eye out for.

There are loads of similar virii for MSN and other messengers around.

I'm not scared though. Kudos to whoever manages to infect my Linux machine through MSN
