New track up from their new album Silhouettes. Honestly i'm not really digging this. I was a huge fan of both Polars and Drawing Circles but this new song sounds like a straight Bleed rip off with some clean vocals thrown in. Hope the rest of the album is better =/

It's damn amazing. Hope rest of the album is at least this good.

Yeah the last bit is a bit too Meshuggy for me, but the rest of the song sounds really really good, can't wait for the album!! I think this song actually sounds a lot like Drawing Circles.

It's about to leak I guess. It'll be released in 3 weeks, and all tracks have a couple of plays on Last.fm already, which would be promo's I guess.

But I shall resist! 2 songs is enough for now!

I definitely like the new song a bit more, and i like the first song more, but still find the outro as a Bleed rip off. I'll get the album and make a decision on if i really like it then.

I doubt Obzen or Bleed were out when Textures were writing and recording Silhouettes so I don't think it's a 'rip-off'. If they're really very similar, it's probably a coincidence.

(Except that Meshuggah keep ripping off themselves, so perhaps Textures and Meshuggah ripped of the same song?)

It is quite the coincidence because i'm sure at least some of you caught how similar the outros to both songs are.

Also i dont see how Meshuggah keep ripping off of themselves. They developed a sound and have just followed it through for a few albums.

I heard most of the album last night.

Very impressive. A couple of the songs had quite a Dev-feel, I thought.

It took me a long time to feel the first two albums, as it will with this one I think.
