A conference in Teddington. Not a very spooky one actually but lots of biscuits.

I'm not built for London. It's too much for me

I'm from the suburbs of a ~260,000 town. You have my full understanding. I mainly solve it by steering clear of zone 1. :P ...or the outdoors in general.
But Teddington doesn't sound so bad. You can go hang out with the deer in Richmond Park. :D

My grandma died yesterday.

I'm largely feeling relief that she's not suffered any longer than she had to, and lucky that I had such an amazing grandma for so long, that she lead a long and full life, and that the absolute angels at the hospice gave her the peaceful, and dignified end she deserved.

The world is a less interesting place today without one of its great characters. RIP Grandma

My condolences. She sounded like an awesome lady by the way you described her.

So long Lemmy. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but man if there's anyone less bullshit in music than Lemmy, the world can go on becoming a better place.

Saw him at so many tiny venues over the years and he didn't give any fucks. I'll squeeze your lizard, man.

I only saw him once in 2011 but goddamn that was a hell of a show, one of the best I've seen.
He will truly be remembered and missed.

shit, so very sorry to hear that! My condolences and all the best for your family. Sucks when something like that happens this time of year!

and RIP Lemmy. Saw him at numerous festivals myself and always had a blast!
