I went to my friends birthday party yesterday, and it was a movie marathon. Ugh. So later in the evening I decided to go check out the bar I usually go to, but none of my friends wanted to come. So I went on my own, cycling the 10 or so kilometers. When I got there, I found out there were about 5 other people, so I had a quick beer and cycled back to the movie party :(

Some blithering idiot decided to close down half the road, so the grass on the sides could be cut. During fucking rush hour.

I repeat: Blithering Idiot.

I'm losing 2 of my dogs this week. One of 13 years and the other of 8 years.

The dog I've had for 13 years, Teddy, our Siberian Husky, is just old and tired...i can understand why we have to put him down, the poor thing can barely walk anymore. I've always dreaded the day he had to go.

The dog i've had for 8 years, Cody, a miniature Australian Shepard, is the definition of "Man's best friend". She is next to my bed when I wake up every morning and she's there to greet me when I get home from anywhere. She is by far the best companion I've ever had...I'm just plain torn up about her having to go. Both dogs are 13 years old now. Cody has bladder problems which is the main reason she has to go. If she didnt have them we would more than likely get at least 2-3 more years out of her as a pet...

I'm on some kind of twist here...I've never been so torn up over an animal having to die....

Sympathies, losing long-term pets is absolutely terrible.

I'm so sorry, Alucard. I truly understand. I absolutely dread the day when anything happens to one of my "kids".
