I'm so pumped right now. I'm not sleeping tonight (just as well...I have a paper to finish for tomorrow). I always had that doubt where perhaps the US truly wasn't up to the challenge of breaking the racial barrier, but seeing it actually happen is a truly inspiring feeling. His short speech he gave was very eloquent, and came off as heart-felt, appreciative, and fitting for a man who just became the nation's next president. Now its just a matter of getting him into office and seeing what he can do...seeing if he can "walk the walk."
Awesome. Truly amazing.

yup, big congrats to the US of A! I'm glad things worked out the way they did! I actually stayed up all night and watched CNN because I think it was quite an important and historic moment indeed! Now I just wish we had someone like Obama here and not the same old same old that we usually do.
