Yes, I don't know what it's like over there, but here in the US it's just been a constant nauseating barrage of reality TV shows for the better part of the last few years.

I can't stand them. I don't watch them. I think the concepts behind them are crap....paradise hotel, that marrying rich people one, tempation island, big brother...all utter crap ...they shuld televise METAL gigs

It's seems like every week begins a new show about has-been celebrities eating maggots and getting bonded in a forest. I really could not care less.

yes we have this too ... That's pathetic !!! Instead of living their own lives people enjoy to waste their time in front of the screen with these shits.
In my opinion these programs are made for more and more people that have no motivation to open a book, go for a walk and look for more culture...

They call this TV reality, but how can you act naturally when you're filmed 24/24h ...

I commend you! I too have given up television due to being just overly annoyed by television shows that won't matter to me an hour after i watch them.
