Yeah i dont really know much about the various types of drumsets because ive had the same standard hunk of crap for awhile now... but i thought hey! double pedals dont look cool enough:P

anyways does anyone know a good set with double basses, maple preferably, it can just be a 6-piece as i could really care less for more than 3 toms... and price max is hmmm 1700 but thats pushing it a little

Here comes a drummer's 2 bass drums versus one bass drum and a double pedal debate. I'll be next door playing pinball.

Doesn't Yamaha make a "maple custom?" Not sure if that'd be in your budget though...
