adat recording

Ok heres the situation. My band want's to make a record by recording on a adat machine and then transfer the music to my computer recording program. Has anyone had any experience on this? If you have let me know your results.

Yes. It can be quite complicated, unless you can work out how to digitally transport from the ADAT machine to the computer.

there is a couple of interfaces i can buy. It just seems like a lot of extra work dealing with the adat machine.

try this card: RME HDSP 9652 (ADAT 24i/o) very good quality and not to expensive, and if you need a smaller version, its also available.
