Here it is, for everyone who talked about it! The Legendary Lars Ulrich Signature Snare Drum!

Purchase now, or steal an empty from your local pub, for the definative MetallicA sound!

I think Tama must have fooled Lars into thinking that normal kitchen utensils are the future of drumming.
And then James Hetfield decided he would whine over the sound of it lol!

The thing that cracks me up is when they do Frantic Live and you get Kirk doing the "Live It Or Lie It!" bit, and he sounds constipated! It's a good laugh!

Personally I've never been more than a passive fan of the big M...probably something to do with all that "YE-HE-EE-YEE-EEAAAAH" and "WO-WO-UU-WOOOAAAH"-ing James does. It just sounds silly to me.

Damn I love you people! I was scared that this place would be filled to the brim with Metallica lovers (I'm afraid there are a few of them on the Meshuggah board) so it's a wonderful relief to see people with the same views on the as I have *snickers then shakes head*.... bloody Metallica... I think we should all sign a petition forcing them to change their name. They just don't live up to the title, do they? They haven't for years... They're more country than metal.

is it just me or does the new Fear Factory album sound like Raymond borrowed Lars' tom?

believe it or not, i have actually heard bands use kitchen sinks and cans for percussion and the sad thing is. they sounded way better than lars and the Tin Bucket he used on St. Anger

Yeah ... I noticed that, I don't like the sound of the snare drum on some songs, but globally that's a cool production ... The drums sound "real"

yeah on previous FF albums the drums sounded very synthetic, on this one they have a more live sound to them.
