Also, as a side note, I don't like using the MRD-V600s as regular headphones.

Monitors are designed to be as totally sonically flat as possible. Like listening to a sterio with the EQ set totally flat right across the board. Great for recording and all, but I like it when certain frequencies have a bit of boost or cut when listening for pleasure. And that's the difference between monitors and regular headphones right there; headphones come pre-tuned for a more pleasureable sonic experience.

This is why, when I'm cutting the lawn, I rock a pair of these;

They sound great, and REALLY have that wicked old-school look. Fan-tastic!

Though I do wanna pick up some SkullCandy cans at some point. I've heard a few pairs recently, and the sound just broke my brain.
I have a sneaking suspicion that they may be an offshore manufactured rebranded BOSE design, because the only other headset I've ever heard that sounded as good was a $700 set of BOSE. Maybe I'm just a really lame conspiracy theorist, though.
