Okay here's the big one! As I said, I'm really gravitating towards wanting to make soundtrack-music. Here's my first released orchestral piece. No room for subtlety here. I'm going for the grand scale-thing with this one. Something for an emotional climax to an action/fantasy/sci-fi-movie/game. One could imagine this one in a trailer aswell, I'd guess. All done with a MIDI-keyboard, VST and a mic and vocal chords for the choirs. Would love feedback coz I'm trying to figure out if I should start sending this stuff to developers any time soon.

Wow, thank you! Goes a long way to build confidence. Now if I only knew how to get some game-developer's or filmmaker's attention!

Finally decided to create a Facebook-page for my music. Spreading the word and promoting is a challenge my ego is ill equipped to tangle with, but one has to try. If you guys like what you hear, give the page a "like" and I will personally guarantee you a long and prosperous life teeming with fullfilling experiences, spiritual unity and sexual satisfaction. Also, it will help me with the ego-thing.

Yes, did the same here. The balls-out-orchestral thing is a very nice composition!

Thanks, swervedriver! I appreciate it!

My on-going quest to some day get hired as a video game-composer continues. Here's another track I uploaded today. Kind of a funky, electronic vibe I envision in some modern 3D-platforming-game. I imagine some kind of a dreamlike floating world with hazy atmosphere and pretty lights and stuff. :P

So yeah, here's more (whether anyone's asking for it or not)!

New track. Kind of an Eastern European vibe. Accordions, orchestrations and electronic beats and a very Sovietian choir! It's a good time!
Of course, don't forget to check out my FB-page here: https://www.facebook.com/Hohko (God I hate this whoring business!)

...and another one. Very much a chillout version of my usual electronic/orchestral style. This one's got a oceanic, sweeping vibe to it.

Spanish Gypsy Scale! I get extra excited every time I compose something in that deliciously mysterious scale! This turned out pretty nice. It's dark, energetic, danceable, mysterious and kind of "heavy" at the same time. Hope people like it as well.

Here's some "flying music". Pretty ethereal, and takes a turn for the epic in the second half.

Pretty nice stuff you have there, although I honestly like your rock stuff better. What plugins/samples you use?

Thanks! Got some of that pop/rock-stuff in the works, though I mainly focus on the video game/film-tracks, which is what I would really love to build a career on.
I use a plug-in called HALionOne for most of the stuff (everything orchestral) as well as a few more for some additional electronic sounds, that I don't remember the name of right now. While not the greatest library out there, I try to make it work. Will probably upgrade to EastWest or some such as soon as I have the funds.
