fuck....well who cares anyway....I just wanna see them live...couldn't give two shits if I played with them or not really. just my opinion, but I'd be thankful to play in front of a crowd that appreciates ME not JUST another band....shit playing for people in any circumstance would be great. shiiiit....lol

Hey that's awesome,

My band got to open up for SYL in May 2003, and it was a dream come true. I gotta say though that since we were such huge Dev fans we all lost our minds and couldn't even get a coherent thought between the four of us. When Dev finally came ot of the bus and we got to talk to him it was like "Ummm....so you're Devin Townsend right?".

Yeah, brilliant line eh? We didn't even have cameras with us.

This is the highlight of my life! well..... see i already opened up for DTB back in November of 2003 with Symphony X, so now i get to open for SYL. And the crazier thing is that it is my 20th birthday on that day! It will be a intense experience and will try to get pictures of me and of course dev, gene, jed, byron, and the keyboard guy. lol. What if he is watching us!!!!! SHIT THE BED AGAIN!

My band is called Solaris. The music is Wannabe Devy stuff, but within my range vocally. The music is like Soilwork and a lot of other swedish metal type influences, but with a middle eastern twist to it. it kind of reminded me of the sun beating down on dudes in the desert or something.(hey, gimme a break, i was high!) I love playing this stuff!
