So this is made in one day? Damn, I need like a month to achieve anything. No matter how user friendly DAW is programming drums is a chore.

Good start, anyway. Welcome in ranks of people fighting with placing notes in right places :>

After 120 hours of work the past two weeks, we finally finished our exam project! It's an ambient-ish song (mainly inspired by the season and Perdition City by Ulver), made by me and two classmates. It's called Purgatory and that is what it's about. Dude dies, his soul travels up but enter purgatory and shiz. Enjoy!

We could do aloooot better. Had to use a silly Groove Agent One electronic drumkit cos Superior is gay and only has one drumkit that won't be manipulated as hard. And we micced the piano wrong in a silly environment. And the vocalist isn't actually a vocalist. But spank you, I am soon going to be producing some on my own hopefully! (and we are lucky to have a young aspiring Åkerfeldt in our class lolz)

^ Superior Drummer is incredibly versatile for the limited kit you're given.

Unless you buy like, Metal Foundry or the Allaire stuff.

Supposedly(don't quote me on this) the Periphery album was done with stock Superior, as was Cloudkicker's latest.

There's no bass guitar in this is there? :?

Otherwise, it sounds pretty cool. Surprisingly decent sounding drums for what you used.

There is a lot of bass actually but I guess it got masked in the chorus shiz, and it sounds like we forgot to turn up the master before we finished, lolz. I was the main technician for recordings, I did guitars, all ambience, effects and drums (apart from Superior), Christian did vocals, Superior, bass, composing, and Martin did growlies and he works at a musicstore so he has alot of plugins (slut). Me and Christian mixed the thing last night. I really wish we could've re-recorded the piano (and some of the violin) but we didn't have time.

I made moar stuff. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1096777&songID=9938006

Spent a few days on this just having fun with Absynth, Massive, Battery and Kontakt. I have a reverb REPLACE on the piano track, sent to a reverb FX channel, which is then again sent to a reverb FX channel. Lulz. Check it brah. Inspiration from Harold Budd.
