Hmm...Slow Me Down, i'm actually surprised the poll got so close like that. Slow Me Down is so powerful, and it all seems like a buildup of emotion until Devy finally lets it all out in that long scream right at the end. One of my favorites by him, actually.

I actually voted on this a while ago, but didn't post anything until now. Sunday Afternoon is the best song on A.E, and thus, it wins the competition.

Yup', that's what I'm thinking too now.
Sunday Afternoon is now my fav' song on AE, previously it was Deadhead, but now I prefere the romantic feeling of Sunday Afternoon over the mmh "depressive", sad feeling of Deadhead.

Slow me down is a fucking waste of space...it is such a homosexual song. And I don't mean that offensively to homosexuals, but the song just feels backwards, like after the album Dev took a step in the opposite direction.

I'm sorry but it's just rediculous and flakey....and I mean that whole heartedly, it is the only song I skip on the cd in terms of Holy Crap what the shit is this, and why did you even bother...it reminds me of a Sum41 riff with a complete cheeseball sentiment that is just useless in reality. It doesn't make any sense....what was the point of that rediculous ending to an otherwise interesting cd.

Sunday Afternoon is just a peanut butter and jam song. Sittin around and being relaxed and lookin at clouds kinda tune...nothing real, nothing specific in the song...just silly introspective regret. Can't fullly connect to the lyric totally because I'm not Dev...but the song has a calm 'Sunday' feel to it.

Slow Me Down is CRAP!

I voted for Slow me down just because the other day I realized how much I liked this song!

Sunday Afternoon is IMO the weakest song of AE, while Slow Me Down is one of the best ones.

Difficult to compare these songs really, both fantastic!

IMO, the whole point of Dev's music is its versatility, THAT's what makes it as great as it is.

But in my eyes Sunday Afternoon is a bit better :D

Given your avatar, this opinion takes on new meaning..."in my eyes", indeed.
