I think I know why. AE is relatively new, and it combines elements of all of Devins solo stuff. It is probably the single most accessible album he has released, and by the time it cam out, we had all gravitated towards one of the older albums emotionally.

I think that AE is like vanilla, it is the bestest of the flavours, but people rarely buy it, instead, going for the strnger, more concentrated flavours...

I went with "Deadhead" today, but after another listen it could easily change. Every track is solid, and many are stellar. I really love the record.

Hey geoff, ur right bro'. Weirdo. Maybe thats because the "old killers" are hard to dethrone :) And sometimes it needs time to get used to a new album. What do ya think :?:

yepp, that may be the fact. If I think about Terria...I really heard it not hundreds of times but more than 1000. For more than 1 year I used to listen to Terria 3,5 hours each day (whilst sitting in the train to work and home...it takes that long)...I always gonna hear news when I listen to it today...it's amazing...the same with A.E., I think.

"Storm" is quite possibly the greatest song ever conceived in the history of Heavy Metal. Seriously, this song should be in the dictionary under the term "chord progression". Also, like all the other songs on the album, Storm exudes such an honest and naked emotion that I feel that I am an intruder whenever I listen to the song. Devin is obviously extrapolating on the fatigue that touring places on both the mind, soul and his relationship with Tracy. Utterly beautiful, raw and heart-wrenchingly empathic.

Pfffiiuuu ... I'm impressed
I hope that Tracy will be able to read this short review soon . Awesome to see how Dev's music and feelings have an impact on us all

I don´t know but "Storm" is one of those very very few songs that can make me cry when I feel emotional. I deeply love that song and have listened to it 100s of times. The last minute of that song is more intense than most other songs that I know. It´s beautiful...

Storm is the only Devy song that my girlfriend actually likes. Having said that she actually likes it quite a lot.

Storm is bliss.
