This is like the perfect background music to my average work week, when things pick up, slow down, pick up again and suddenly become all intertwined.
Great friggin' tune on an album with a lot of them.

And it's about Australia! What more could you want?

Earth Day.

My first Devy album...the first digital only album I ever bought, I think. I took many listens to get it at all. Now I'm an idiot cheerleader for Ziltoid's army.

What I wouldn't give to hear that live.

Deep Peace or Earth Day

no love for "down and under"?? Every song on this album is amazing but down and under has just such an epic feel to it. One of my favorite songs to blast in the car with the windows down on a nice day.

Slightly surprised that there's only one vote for Humble. It's such an awesome song when you're in the right state of mind.

"Deep Peace". It was one of the first Devy songs I heard, and it really moved me. I'd go as far as to say it's one of my favourite pieces of music ever. Getting into that song got me into Devy, which got me into metal, which led me to my girlfriend and all kinds of new experiences. It means a lot. When I saw Devy at Bloodstock last year, he had to cut the set short before he could get to "Deep Peace", which I was really bummed about. When I saw him earlier this year at Rock City, I was nervous all the way through "Color Your World" and "The Greys", hoping he'd do it. Then he started the run-up to "Ki", and I knew from looking at his setlists that he sometimes played that as an encore. So I was really disappointed again, but I wasn't going to get upset about it, "Ki" is a great song...

And then, right before going into the main part of "Ki", Devy said, 'This one's called "Deep Peace"', and the whale sounds started up. I'm not going to lie, I had a tear in my eye. Mouthed along to all the lyrics, and when the solo started, I couldn't see over the tall guy in front of me, so I just closed my eyes and let the music wash over me. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Even though I was just standing in a crowd listening to someone else do all the hard work, it felt like I'd come a long way and been through a lot to hear that solo. Yeah, I'm a pansy.

I already cast my vote for "Earth Day", but part of me demands I post here to state that, while "Earth Day" is timeless and borderline
exists beyond being a part of the album... I seriously love "The Fluke", too.
