And how did Devin get that twangy guitar sound? It amazes me.
I think it's because he uses a stratocaster and if so, what model it is.
The twangy strat sound is just awesome, especially on Mountain.

This was recorded back when Dev was still using Peavey EVH 5150s I think; it was definitely before he got onto the Mesa Boogies.
No idea on what synths were used. I know a few of the samples were recorded by Dev around the house. In 'Mountain' you can hear him playing with his dog (which passed away before Terria was finished I think) from 4.15
