i just love to have them organized, so i always know where they are

Hah, I'm the same way. good to know I'm not the only one. I thought I had some form of OCD with my music or something

Or maybe we still do

yea i do alphabetical order of band, and chronological in each band
its just simpler to find a cd afterwards, and its cooler for presentation

I'm obsessive about my cd's, but weirdly I have one that's been missing for months..and it's just the cd, which is really unlike me. I've checked all my other boxes to see if I put it in the wrong one by mistake and everything, it is a complete mystery...it gets me all worked up just thinking about it!

My pet hate is cd's not being put back/organised properly

I actually wouldn't be that upset about loosing a Dev CD (apart from the terria/AE digis) because I'd have no hesitation to buy them again instantly

I keep all my cd's organised, never lost one. But my copy of SOAD's Steal This Album! got scratched badly, it would only play in cars. I bought that again.

For some reason when I ripped Terria and Accelerated Evolution to put them on my Ipod they both got screwed up. AE especially. None of the song lengths are correct, a part of Random Analysis interrupts Depth Charge, Deadhead and Slow Me Down are cut short. A part of Deep Peace interrupts Canada. When I play the physical cds however they play correctly..

Mmh then maybe your PC CD player is crap, or your processor is not powerfull enough.

There may be some options in your ripping software about error detection and correction. The ripping might be way longer but at least the songs will be of good quality^^ (in CDex for instance : options > CD Rom > extraction method > Paranoia, Full)

I keep my shit organized, but I still manage to lose a CD on very rare occasion, most recently being Appetite for Destruction from GnR.

I think damaged CDs are just as bad, my Terria special edition packaging is torn and it brings a tear to my eye everytime I see it.

Damn sticky tape!
