Does Dev ever play any songs off of Physicist? I've never heard of such during a Strapping show much less a DTB gig.

I remember hearing Namaste live when that album came out, I actually think SYL did some more off that but my memory aint the best im afraid.

I confirm this, in November 2001 I saw Dev and co play "Namaste" live

They played "Kingdom" and "Namaste" from fizzy

Until DTB was founded, Devin performed his solo material live with the SYL boys (together with SYL material, of course). So yeah, Physicist stuff has been played live in the past.

However, since there's DTB and SYL, the Physicist songs don't seem to fit in either band's set, which is a damn shame.

I think "Jupiter" or "Material" would fit in the DTB set ...

I keep pushing for Kingdom as I think it would fit DTB a little more than some of the other songs which SYL should play.

Planet Rain would be awesome too...I always thought that song had more of a Progressive/Terria kind of vibe to it, just fit for the DTB folks to play.

It is a shame that the Physicist material has been kind of 'lost' between the two camps...this music deserves to be played live!

yea agreed with Kingdom, its amazing, and i reckon Dev could really kick some more ass with the vocals in that song, as it probably is one of the more interesting songs vocally on Fizzist with not too much screaming.

i would love to see Victim, Kingdom, The Complex live best 3 on the album i reckon but seeing any Devy would rock

you got my vote...add some Physicist to the DTB Kingdom, Material or Planet Rain would all fit very well.

I dont' think it would be too much of a hassle to rearrange some song to make them fit a SYL- or DTB-set.

I would love to hear a live rendition of "death", by the way...
