when i was listening to this for about the 3rd time during the week, i noticed my feet started tapping to it....odd.

so then i listened harder and i realised that it was quite jazzy and it would be possible to swing dance to.

i decided to contact my friend who is a swing dancer

she does not like metal at all, and i honestly thought she would turn it off, i explained i thought she'd like to use it for a dance routine she does.

she ended up going through the song and said that it was pretty awesome!!! but it might be a little too fast to do a decent routine.

so that is kind of cool Dev puts lots of musical styles in his songs and then makes them his own! im sure that will be the only Dev song she'd listen to unfortunately

Well, it's jazz-metal isn't it?
This is the one song I always give to people to check out, who are not into Devin Townsend. Most of them like it, because of the mix of music styles.

I've danced to it when I was alone before, or when I was goofing off for friends (I'm bad enough that I never try to dance and look serious in any way), I just shake my groove thang to it.

But now that Ive said that... If I'm all alone, and theres no chance of anyone walking in on me, I'll bop along to Bad Devil

I could totally see people dancing to Bad Devil. Definetly sounds like a dancy kind of song to me anyways.

I wish I had a pair of white leather pants to dance to it in, and I'd get a light that changes color so that my pants change color with them. That's one of the things I think of when I think of that song, and I can't even figure out why. What's wrong with me?

Bad Devil kit!!

One of my friends was having a dance party for her birthday. My friends and I gave the DJ bad devil and told him to play it (no one else at the party knew who it was). Everyone started dancing and it was fucking awesome. Everyone digged the song. And this was a party filled with 16 year olds

Devin really did a great job on Bad Devil, and out of all his songs, its one of my favs... ROCK ON DEVOID!!!!

Yea, I think I've danced with quite a few people to Bad Devil... I know my buddy and I like to attempt swing dancing, and my GF and I love to dance around to it...

does Bad Devil is a remake of a riff (theme) that already exists or it just came from a devy brain???
