Haha I never noticed that before. To be honest though I don't think there's any real connection. Just a coincidence.

Would be cool if Dev got the idea from them though :D

He did. It was mentioned in an interview quite awhile ago I believe.

I never read that interview, but it pleases me that there are yet more links between Dev and my other fave bands. (Dev's Judas Priest covers, the NFL influence...)

I always noticed that, but I didn't realize that it he actually did that on purpose, but then again, there's no reason for me to think that Devin hadn't heard NFL before, so it makes perfect sense.

As for Anthrax, I prefer the Bush era as well, I'm a big fan of all four of the long players that they released with Bush on vocals and a fan of about half the stuff they put out with Joey, but hey, both work good still.
