Atlantisian wrote:Voices In The Fan has a ridiculous low amount of votes :( Its maybe Devins best song ever written, its about as perfect as a song can get. Although Funeral and The Death Of Music are quite close to perfection as well.

It's a good song on a great album. It might even be a great song on a great album. But, I don't think you could call it the best song ever. I like it a lot though.

I think it is one of the more "sublime" moments on the album.

"It's the grey days that I'll remember the most
It's the grey times in the water before morning..."

That bit always takes me elsewhere. 8)

Yep, its very... how to say, hypnotic. I love to listen to Biomech when im about to sleep and when that song comes on im somewhere in the beginning of falling asleep and when i close my eyes i picture myself flying over an ocean or any other beautiful surroundings, i feel like im drifting away into a state of hypnosis or something, its totally awesome.

I'll see your "sublime" and raise you a "majestic".

Regulator is only at 5%? What the hell? That song is like, the unofficial climax of the album! It's freakin amazing, and every time i hear it, it makes me wish I was at a concert. (Perferrably a metal one)

After much contemplation, I've chosen Funeral. So beautiful. Ocean Machine is the only Dev album that I've been able to pick a favorite from so far. Probably because it was the first I listened to.

I'd love to put on Ocean Machine when I sleep. I'm just afraid that Things Beyond Thing's scream will wake me up :(

Very well said.

It's funny that despiet all the times I've listened to OM, it's only the last few months that Bastard has started to grab me the way it does now, I sit there craving that line :)

If you use headphones you can get them to fall off before the album ends and you'll be asleep. I do it all the time. Rarely, if ever, do I get caught by The Scream Beyond Screams.

THATS TOO HARD!
It's in between Life, Regulator, Funeral, Bastard, and The Death of Music tho.
I don't know.. maybe Bastard. Don't wanna vote!
