I like quite a lot of the stuff from Ocean Machine! Voices in the Fan, Seventh Wave, Bastard, Sister. Choosing one....whew. I went for Seventh Wave, and was surprised that more people hadn't gone for that one.

Bastard. But where was Things Beyond Things? A close contender for my favourite. Damn you and your ignoration of probably the best bonus track ever :D

Just got this yesterday. After only one listen of the entire album, I'm inclined towards The Death of Music, but probably only because it reminded me of DSOTM Floyd (long, different parts, sections of ambient nothing).

That song is wonderful.
Makes me think positive thoughts. Like the time I only listened to Devin Townsend stuff while I was carving that Devin Townsend pumpkin (what? I'm not a weirdo  ) And that song really grooved in particular.

Anyways, I don't know why I brought that up, except to agree that Seventh Wave is an awesome song. Sorry to hear about your loss though

The Death of Music is definitely my favorite song. It was hard to choose it over Funeral though. I first listened to OM all the way through a few times without really listening, so I didn't even like it all that much. To me it was just another CD I had borrowed from my brother-in-law. Then one day I just really started to listen to it, and when I heard Funeral, I was completely blown away. I have never been so moved by music; ever.

But while Funeral was the first bite of cake, The Death of Music was the frosting. I am in love with that song... even though I am definitely not in love with frosting.. :?

Thanks dude, and it is totally an awesome song.
I want my band to cover it. Don't think my singer is good enough.
