I made a cd-r for my aunt who is in her 60's. It had a bunch of mellow stuff that I listen after all the weird old Italian music she asked for.
Of course, I put on Things Beyond Things forgetting about the coolest scream ever at the end. Needless to say, my Zia was not impressed.

Usually if i'm listening to OM at home, i fall asleep during Funeral, Bastard, TDOM of Things Beond Things. Then i get shit-scaringly awoken by that scream.

I remember listening to OM when I first bought it, I was sitting in my room drawing with my headphones on and I thought my mum was calling my name out. It was 3 in the morning and no one was home, it took me awhile to realize it was the song "Voices in the Fan". Somewhere in the middle of the song some one yells out "ANWAR!", which is my name.
It freaked me out for a bit, but I told my friends and showed them and they said it sounded exactly like me mum when she yells out for me.

Haha wow it's hard to believe other regular listeners still get taken by suprise by the scream. I can't just relax & fall to sleep before it, in fact I practically ignore Things Beyond Things in preparation for it.
