Another under-rated peice of music. Short but haunting. That ooooohhhhhhhhhh part sends chills up my spine everytime. What are your thoughts on it?

It's one of my favorite songs on any cd, not just ocean machine! I absolutely love it.

Have you any idea of the lyrics' meaning?
Yesterday I was listening OM and thought that Greetings is a short conversation between a human and an alien

Yeah, basically first contact with an alien species and the humans end up boring them. haha.

"I believe, we'll lose our world for them...
I believe, we'll throw up arms before them..."

To me it's about aliens taking over, we worship them like gods. But they're unimpressed by us so they kill us all.

If one song could summarize how amazing Biomech is, this would be it...

One of the first bits of Dev's stuff I ever heard and still just about the best... the harmony bit thingy is awe inspiring.

Oh yeah, its a great song no doubt. I do think its one of Ocean Machine's weaker moments though.

Just shows how good the album is I guess >_>

This song was the key for me to get into Biomech. When I was first listening to the album at my record store, that guitar melody was the only part that really stuck in my head. I came back to the album a couple days later in order to listen to "Greetings" again - and bought it.

To this day Ocean Machine - Biomech is my favorite Devin work.
