An absolutely beautiful song, which I've been trying to tab out for quite a while. There's so many different tones and layers its hard to find anything to play that even closely fills the amount of sound. Guess that's how it goes! i assume its CGCGCE for the song?

I get the feeling there's something very personal here, so i tread ground very lightly, but can anyone shed light as to the meaning/influence for the song? Either way its mindblowing.

For a while I was so sure he said "This one's for the fuhrer of the reich" as opposed to "funeral in the rain"

I've always wondered too. Did he have a brother who passed away?

As for the tuning, it might be standard. I don't hear any low notes on it. The main chug chug chug chug note is E I believe. Having said that, you can still play it in open C.
