I was under the impression that it was just trashed at the end cos it didn't fit the flow of the album...

I got that edition. Twas my first every Devy purchase. Money well spent. It's got a transparent logo thingy on the booklet as well as the little DVD.. Haven't seen it around in ages, though. Only regular versions seem to circulate now.

Because he has a click track behind him and waits for the click track to start. If he's not recording, he has a goofy way to soundcheck.

When it comes to Devin, new liner notes are often reason enough to buy the reissue. Case in point: Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing. Those liner notes are downright hilarious, and also offer a ton of insight into the early days of SYL.
