I know I mentioned this before, but Devin Townsend changed me last year.

It was my senior year of high school, and I was depressed about the big life change about to come up and certain family/friend issues i'd rather not talk about. So I was in a very bad way.

Then I picked up a little album called "Synchestra" At first listen, I thought it was merely ok. But then, I got into one of my "depression moments" and popped Synchestra in. Amazingly, I felt better within seconds of hearing songs like "Triumph" and "Notes From Africa." Needless to say, it's definitely one of my favorite albums of all time now.

Since then, whenever I get down, I pop in that record and chill. It's like therapy.

So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you and Dev.

I remember hearing Dev say that was an album he could put on to make himself happy at like any time....

Isn't it amazing how well he connects everything together to make music that really DOES something to the listener?
