I was bored and reading about the Alien record, and I stumbled upon this:

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... emID=13453

It states:

In related news, Townsend is working on a book entitled "Temperamental", which is being described as "a collection of random thoughts from the past 5-6 years. No word yet on when or how these writings will be used (CD REPLACE, lyrics for a future project, or possibly a mail-order-only book).

Also on the Townsend front, Devin is currently working hard on the soundtrack for a video game for Interplay Entertainment called "Fallout", the third in a series. It is "stimulating his ambient side and he is finding it a nice challenge, though difficult to write with restrictions," according to Devin's official web site. "We have no idea at this time when the game will be available on the market."

This is the first time I'd heard any of this (and the article is rather dated).

Any progress to those projects? Is Dev still working on the Fallout 3 soundtrack? Were the writings used for anything? Or were they all merely rumours? :O

I remember reading that the Fallout 3 soundtrack turned into the Devlab album.

Info on the Fallout soundtrack: http://hevydevyforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6212

(By the way, Fallout 3 will be released soon, developed by Bethesda who also made Oblivion. But Fallout might just be better than Oblivion ;))

Search burned my crops, and destroyed the essence of my people's culture!

(I was mainly wondering about the writings, but thought I'd throw the Fallout thing in there.)

Hey, I asked Tracy a while back if Dev had planned to do an autobiography at any point, and she answered...

The last thing Devin enjoys is thinking/talking about himself. He's also forward-thinking so getting him to go into the past is close to impossible.
