You are the rainbow! You are the sun to my chameleon!

If a Syncehstra leak appears (and it's almost assured it will), will you download it?

I was never going to download it, but now Dev acually asked people not to I simply wouldn't be able to, I'd feel to damn guilty.

Ain't that the truth.

'Cause someones gonna say, "the leak is out" and for a brief moment every single ounce of willpower I don't have is going to be forced to exist.

People who download it should immediately order a T-shirt from HDR to redeem themselves a little, haha. Plus of course buy the album when it's out.

There's no way I could stop myself. I just don't have that kind of willpower. Remember Alien? Downloading paid off for that album because the leak was the promo/unfinished/unmastered version. I have since bought the NA release of Alien, the NA promo to get the longer Love and Alien on Vinyl. So I actually bought Alien twice on CD because of the leak.
This abolishes any guilt I could ever have about d/l music. If it is quality, I support the shit out of it. Not to mention the $$ I have spent on merch.
I've yet to see conclusive evidence that downloading effects artists.

Nope, I refuse to download it. Besides the fact that Dev prefers us not to, it's also because I love the whole experience of waiting for the release date (a bit like Christmas for me :D ), opening the CD, admiring the artwork, and listening to the album in my living room on my nice stereo with some candles lit and a couple glasses of wine. It's a total celebration of my favorite music, the way DTB intened it in all its glory.

Wow. I sound quite emotional about it really.

I won't download it, either :).

Yeah. I really can't enjoy an album if I have downloaded it (which I never, ever do).

I respect every second of Dev's work, that's why I will download it, buy the record and who knows, maybe even get a f**kin T-shirt, eventually (hooray for unemployed people with a plan :D)

That is pretty much exactly what I plan to do!

I did the same when Alien came out. I had waited so long for it, so I made sure to savour the experience. I moved my big armchair right infront of my nice stereo and got some food and beer ready. I made sure I was totally comfy and ready to be absorbed.

And it was amazing! Well worth the wait.

I cannot wait for that moment...I'm torn between whether I want to sit and enjoy it in the dark with just the blue glow from my stereo, but I think I'd rather sit and examine the booklet...maybe turn the lights off after a while
