my friend's last name is Vaitruardrok and is pronounced Why-twit-low. Thatd be cool if Synchestra was like that and is actually pronounced Flub-snerd-gumpo-twuz or something.

I was pronoucing it it Syn-cresta. Well sink-EST-rah sounds better.

I think it's very much down to where you live. Americans and Canadians put a different emphasis on syllables in quite a number of words.

Hard to write it, but try saying Ice Cream. In the UK its Ice. Cream. in the U.S. it seems to be pronounced as one word... Icecream.

So I say Syn Kest Tra.
