You should add people who ask to be your friend

That way they can look at pics, and leave comments on the page.

Who creates a personal website with the name of someone else?

Those dudes just want some attention, "fame" and visitors.
With lots of visitors they can advertise their real web site, for instance.

Yeah. People you add as friends are allowed to leave comments on pictures and stuff. they can also see any bulletins that you post, say you wanna advertise a bunch of gigs or Synchestra ordering information, post it in a bulletin.

Gotta love the middle part of the song.
Probably somewhere at 3:00.
It sounds cool when the guitar is played so low.

Cool, an official Myspace for the Dev. Golly, I sure hope they accept my friend invitation.

It is also wise to befriend as many as possible on Myspace, because they have some sort of ranking based on how many friends an artist or a group has, and higher ranking could mean more friends added, which would in turn give a higher ranking, which could increase the number of visitors, which could increase cd sales, and so on and so forth.

Basically, befriend everyone!

Just out of curiosity... if the myspace page that Tracy has up for the time being is only a temporary one until they can get the username they want, what happens to all the people who join as friends? Won't they all get booted off and have to join the official one? If so I think I'll wait...

mine is http://www.myspace.com/14996988 by the way..

Hmmmm.. I'm not sure whether to lsiten or not.

On the one hand I don't want to spoil that experience of listening to the whole album...on the other hand, it would only be one listen to one song, so probably wouldn't spoil it, and it would be nice to get a feel of the album...

I've been worried that if I didntt check it out, I'd have no feel for what the album's like and build it up too much and end up dissapointed, glad to hear it's getting the vote of confidence :)

You go to Devin Townsends official MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/devintownsenddtb

On the right top the MySpace musicplayer will appear (if you have Flash installed, if not, get it here: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/).
The musicplayer lists 4 songs: Gaia, Storm, Canada and Life. You can download all but Gaia, but you can listen to it through the player of course.
Immediately below the musicplayer you will see the tourdates (just so you know where to find the damn thing).

Good luck!
