1) Did they ever announce what that song they added was? You know, the one where they said that some fans have probably heard it before?

2) This one is more towards a band member, is there an ambient side to Synchestra like there was on terria? Or is it all just the band? I reall hope there is ambience like terria on this record.

1) I think you mean Notes from Africa (More songtitles and other Synchestra info here)

2) I wouldn't know, as you're saying it's more of a question for a band member to answer. But I think there will be an ambient side to it, because I think that's more or less part of the music from Devin Townsend (Band).

I remeber something other than notes from africa, we all knew about that but they were teasing us with what it would be. Everyone wanted it to be Ocean Machines.... never got an official word however.....

As for Synchestra, There is definately some Terria in there so dont worry!

There was a mystery song....no doubt about it. Beavis tells the truth ! The thing is that the mystery song did'nt fit into the vibe of Synchestra, so it was left off. We did record it though.......Maybe we will release it down the road as a rare track by the DTB or something.

We'll wait for Synchestra to be released, then tell you what song it was. This way when you hear Synchestra you will be able to hear why we left it off the album. It just did'nt fit. It's a great song though....

Synchestra in early 2006......hold the fuck on people, you're all in for one hell of a ride....it's one of the best things, if not the best thing Devin has written !

they seem to be holding alot off on the pre recorded songs. 1st Pussy Cat from SYL and now the mystery song on Synchestra?? wat next?

Particularly looking forward to the DVD. It'll be cool to see for real just how positive the vibe was during recording the album.

We have been good, but a lot of us smell so we've got a problem. It does seem pretty funny however that we would get all excited and spend ages guessing a mystery song.... only for it to get cut from the album. But if it diddnt fit it diddnt fit I suppose.

Now back to guessing.......
