Vai is awesome at solos. I wonder if it will be slow or crazy fast or just plain weird for that matter. Vai is just so versatile.

It's a little of everything you mentioned to be honest ! It's one awesome solo. Your right , he's very versatile and he show's it on the guitar solo in the song "Triumph"......One word to describe Steve's solo -

will be cool... I've been listenning to vais new album.
Sounds to me like he needs something like devymetal to give him a wickid direction to go with the flow in a new way. It will rock.
