For all those who are planning to wait for the official release, what are you guys gonna do to take your mind off downloading it and stuff? For me, i dont even have any downloading programs so even if I was tempted, i wouldn't be able to do anything.

I've also been trying to get into some new bands to take my mind off the wait. I had been listening to tons of Dev's older stuff the last few months but whenever I hear terria or ocean machine it just makes me want synchestra more. I even had a dream about what it was gonna sound like, heh.

so how are you the rest of you faithful few planning to get through the next month or so?

I'm beginning my studies. That should keep me occupied. Drink beer, play guitar, fix my site.

I'm going to listen to my downloaded version A LOT!! And when I buy the original I will have the same feeling of excitement as if I'd never heard it before.

1. I just uninstalled Soulseek. :dead:

2. I'll listen to plenty of other stuff that I've never really sunk my teeth into until now (Voivod's Angel Rat and Outer Limits, Meshuggah's Catch 33, Opeth's My Arms, Your Hearse and Still Life, Type O Negative's Life Is Killing Me, Waltari's Blood Sample, Taha/Khaled/Faudel's 1,2,3 Soleils, some Paco de Lucía/Al Di Meola stuff, you get the picture...)
:guitar:

3. Celebrating the winter solstice (christmas) and turn of the year :drink:

4. Looking out for that beautiful young lady I briefly talked to a couple of days ago in that tiny bar around the corner.. :slap:

5. :wanker:

6. All of the above.

7. None Of the Above.

8. Do you really give a shit anyway??

I have way too much music to catch up on AND three albums on order elsewhere plus two music DVD's waiting to be seen.

You lot are going to hate this next comment but I'm almost glad he's not releasing it until the end of Jan as it'll give me chance to catch up with the shit I've got. Some of it still has the fuckin' shrink wrap on !

First in line is the reissue of the 1984 KUKL album "The Eye" released on the hallowed Crass label. Had it for three weeks and not even read the inlay.

Bring on the wait !

I'm surprised no one's weighed in with the "UNSURE? WELL HERE'S HELP WITH THE WAIT!" quote yet...

I thought that waiting would work, but curiosity got the best of me, so I downloaded it. Im definitely not going to overdo it before the actual cd is in my hands, but whatever. Its not like waiting has too many advantages, unless you are swayed into looking at the album art as you are listening for the first time. Its always satisfying, but the music doesnt change.

I'm still not over 'Alien' so I'm happy listening to that in the mean time.

But my band is playing a string of gigs with CREEP! in the next month so that will keep me well occupied.
