Alrighty!

Thanks Dev and Dave for the piano in Synchestra. Its fresh complemet to heavier sounds. The album is fucking("vitun" as we say it in Finland) brilliant(all the details and as a whole) but this was the most surprising thing... :shock:

Somehow I thought that Dev disliked piano

I really like piano, it can sound both very bombastic and subtle as well.

From these forums few years - or something - ago...? As far as I can remember he didn`t really hate the piano, but didn`t like it either. I`ve always liked the piano sound in progressive music, and back then I wondered why Dev doesn`t use it.

Dave is a kick ass musician. He's a killer piano player and an even better guitar player (Dave and Mike have another band called Ten Ways From Sunday and he also plays in Beav's and my band Evenlight). I don't think he gets enough credit round these parts. :lol:

Plays just about everything, that guy.

I think his playing really shines on Synchestra.
