So hard to pick a favorite, I love this album so much. I actually love it so much that my dog also started to love it, and ate the fucking special edition album! :|

E. Oh and btw, my dog's favorite song of the album is Vampolka, one day he actually started to sing along when i was listening to it. (this isn't a joke!)

My favourite is Hypergeek -> Triumph, but seeing as we can only pick one song, I picked "Pixillate" because I'm a sucker for Harmonic Minor or any of its modes. Probably the reson Nile are the only Death Metal band I really like, too...

Definitely "(The) Babysong."

If you listen to it closely, you can hear bits and pieces of other songs from Synchestra.

Such as the beginning of Hypergeek after the lyrics "Daddy's going away".
Or, perhaps the very similar sound of the vocalizations in "A Simple Lullaby" after "baby's here to stay! ... Go!"

This is by leaps and bounds far the most underrated song of the album.

My favorites:

(The) Babysong
Pixillate
Hypergeek/Triumph
Mental Tan
Judgement (The second half)
Vampira
Gaia
A Simple Lullaby
Notes From Africa/Sunshine and Happiness
Let it Roll
Sunset
Vampolka

It is a tough call... they are all pretty epic in sound and body... Triumph is my call but I love Pixillate a ton as well

It may not be the most uniques opinion, but I'm forced to say Triumph. Honestly, it's the song that got me into Devin's solo stuff, and I think it's the most powerful off of Sunchestra. My favorite vocals, my favorite drumming, the chicken pickin'. It's great.

"Gaia", hands down.

Synchestra was the first bit of music I bought that Devin wrote (SYL included, I got into DTB first), and that album and that song have just stuck with me the whole way.
It's been 3-4 years and it's still my favorite song, still my favorite album.

"Notes from Africa" and "A Simple Lullaby" follow in a close second a third from that album, but the whole thing is just killer.

Let it Roll/Hypergeek/Triumph all fuckin rule.

Notes From Africa, Babysong, Sunset and Pixillate also get a special mention.

I still hate the production on this album, but yeah...the trio of Let it Roll, Hypergeek and Triumph does it for me. Too bad it's not one collective option.

I agree with the point on production. The only thing which I like is the keyboards/samples. I really want to know what Dev and Dave used.

this was a hard one.. as no i relisten to it.. and i find i love nearly all of it... baby song is the only one i have toruble finishing...
but eventually 'tonight' i chose gaia.

In terms of production... every instrument is audible.. and none hurt me ears... i actually like the 'sound' of this one... dont know why but it does sound different.
tho i cant fault it. I try to produce but devin outclasses me if not us all.. if this was good enough for him to release then its beyond most of 'our' capabilities. And therefore im happy.

gaia tonihgt.. but right now im listenning to pixellate.. fucking awesomeness to... its a hard album to chose from.. how can we complain about the production??
