It's hard to choose only one song of this Masterpiece.... Hypergeek...Triumph...Gaia...Pixillate...Judgement...Notes from Africa... these are my favorites at this time, but you know "time proves nothing stays".

Triumph really stands out for me at the moment.

I really like Sunshine and Happiness too 8)

The only song that's not sitting quite right with me at the moment is Notes From Africa (every time I've tried to type that so far I start spelling it Aphrica, no idea why, but anyway...). Something about that vocal motif that closes out the song (and appears earlier on) just kinda gets on my nerves.

Other than that everything's sitting in a 'this is cool' kind of middle ground :)

For the moment it is , and has been from the first time I listened to the album, Pixillate, but there are many others pushing for the title; I love the crazyness of Vampolka, I love the Baby Song, I love Gaia, I love Notes from Africa, I love Triumph... I LOVE THE WHOLE ALBUM GODDAMMIT!!
Although I miss the great guitar solos from the previous albums ( I just can't get enough of Deep Peace!!) it seems to me that on this album Devin has achieved a greater musicality: no instrument prevails obove the others ( even if the piano stick its keys out a coupla times), he seems now more concerned with 'just' (!) writing (awesome!) music, as opposed to showing off his guitar player talents ( which I'm a huge fan of by the way).

Gaia I'd say. Maybe the favourite track will change within time but thus far it has been Gaia from the first listen.

BUT... you're excused anyway :P

I still can't choose. Pixillate and Notes from Africa are great. So are Triumph and Gaia. The Vampolka/Vampira combo is very entertaining. Sunset is beautiful, Sunshine and happiness rocks... I like Baby Song and Judgement too. And then there's Let it roll, Hypergeek, Mental Tan and A simple lullaby... Help!

this whole Album is one amazing piece of work, best think I have ever heard in my life...for me personally. It's too difficult to pick any best song because they are all fantastic. But right now Babysong makes me smile and giggle the most! :D

I don't tend to seperate single songs, I always listen to songs as a unit and I definately think that's how this album works. Besides, it's unlikely that anything that stands out to me right now would end up being my favourite in the long run

You've reached the right point. Synchestra is the better title that one can choose for an album like this. I can't stop to listen it.

Toss-up between Gaia and Pixillate, and the winner is Gaia. For now.
