I don't think The Netherlands has reached that level of musical sophistication yet :(

what's that saying again with the blind chicken :P Just look at most of the other Albums  I wonder what that means for the sales here. I remember In Absentia by PT sold 12,000 copies in the first week and grabbed a 60'ish spot. But anyways, good stuff!

Aaah, you got that from rockhard.de if I'm not totally wrong...

I really didn't expect that to happen. Of course, a chart entry at position 85 doesn't mean Synchestra sells like crazy over here in Germany, but I always kept an eye on the charts since the release of Accelerated Evolution - to see if any Dev record would make it into the German Top 100. This seems to be the first time now... So yeah, congrats from me too, of course!

Along with the good chart entry in Finland and Tracy telling us that the copies at HDR were sold out, one can guess that the album is really doing well overall. Great news!

yes...rockhard.de . I've been checking that site for days and they released that list today finally. I guess it also means there's gonna be a really nice tour! :D Oh and I think it's a good start. #85 isn't really Top 10, hehe...but it's a start! I bet it has sold around 10,000 here then (maybe a little less). And fans here are usually loyal, that I can tell and with the next record, DTB will probably have even more fans here. Just look at PT. It took ages for them to get the slightest recognition here but once they broke through here...KAZOOM! We're just really slow here I think. I don't know...I'm just really happy! :D Weeeeeeeeee....

But WHEN? After the (quite short) tour with the DTB supporting Opeth, Devy will continue working on the next Strapping record, then he'll do some touring promoting this one... Hm. There's only one solution, right?

...

FAMILY TOUR!!!

Position 85!

Gratulation! :D

Finally! Germany usually is a strong market for all things metal, so it's good to see Synchestra in the charts! Two or three more great albums and you are in the Top 10 (see In Flames' Come Clarity - although that one is not too good).

And yes, another "Family Tour", please! I really hope more people would show up than last time I've seen Dev and SYL in Münster-Breitefeld. The turnout on that evening was embarassing. Not for the bands, but for the southwest german metal scene that obviously "overslept" that show (lack of promotion would be my guess). But the "All In The Family Tour" show in Frankfurt back in 2003 had a good turnout and it totally rocked! Do it again!

Or do anything you can to support Iron Maiden this autumn! Bombard Steve Harris and Rod Smallwallet with CDs, letters, bomb threats...
Make it happen :!:
