What a treat, for me to be away from internets for a while and to come back to this news! I am very intrigued about Casualties of Cool, as I was wondering today whether Dev would revisit the bluesy feel of Ki. Here's to a great 2012!

Stay true to yourself and your music (while making enough cash to get by ok :D )

Saw your show in Sydney and it was just fantastic. Saw you wander up with your backpack and hat on, tell the guy on the gate you were playing that night and wander in. Loved it.

I don't actually get out much to shows nowadays and have only seen three shows in the last six or so years (since I've had kids) - Lou Reed, Brian Wilson and your good self!

By the way, have you thought about doing a biography? I would buy it in a heartbeat.

If Casualties is 90 minutes of Trainfire-esque music, I'm on board.

This. Trainfire was something else altogether for me, I mean sure it fit right into the album, but that song has this whole other dynamic. I said the same thing about Ghost, with Casualties of Cool now and Ghost then, of course I am going to love it, but naturally my interest lies in the heavier side of things. That's just me, and I totally get that a lot of people would disagree, but that's just personal preference. I think most people are conditioned to take a bit better to one or the other. That being said, if Casualties is anything like Trainfire, my interest just doubled. It will be great either way though! :D

Probably an extremely arbitrary guess of 60 minutes plus 30 minutes of bonus material.

It could also be 45 minutes with 45 minutes of bonus material.
Or 89 minutes with 1 minute of bogus material.

I would take 75 split into 5 segments of 15 minutes of trainfiresque music each separated by 3 minutes of technoesque music (like the Ravy part in The Mighty Masturbator) all made of sampled farts.

..... What the hell ?!

Maybe you should consider quitting music and doing forums full time. All the time. Never ending. HA!
