Ok, I ran across these on the dark lyrics website under velvet kevorkian. Unless I have some strange version of the song, these are not the lyrics. Any idea what SYL song they are from?

I Want To Be Where The Action Is
It's Time Again
We Won't Get A Second Chance
Everything Is Dying
Fuck Sleep, Fuck Beauty, I Know I Have To Make It Alone
It's 2:45 A.M. And I'm Freaking Out
All I Can Think Of Is Glory, And I'm Sitting In Burnaby
At 2:45 In The Fucking Morning
Freaking The Fuck Out

One Month And I'm Gone Forever
Fuck This Once And For All...
And Just Like All Those Bullshit Jobs
I Swore I'd Never Go Back To
I Swear I'll Never Go Back To This Life

Fuck This

Can You Believe This Shit People?
All You Stupid Fucking People
With Your Useless Fucking Lives
And Your Bullshit Priorities
And Your Sick Fucking Wars
And Your Pathetic Religion
And Your Shit Music
And Your Sick Fucking Hate
Bullshit, Sitcom, North American Ignorance
A New Time Is Coming
And We Know You'll Awake In There

Who's Your Daddy?

This explains it quite adequately. I'm glad the lyrics aren't that though. The brevity of it has gradually transformed it into my favourite song on City. It has such an impact even though it's only sort of an interlude.

Sunmud-Woman has the same tune as Velvet Kevorkian at times, although the lyrics are completely different from either versions.

I watch you in my silence
I was your last grey morning

I want you
And I cast you
And I face disaster

I ask you, being man
I have less use for dignification I know,
In myself, I defy,
Yet I fall to instinct primitive.

Am I here?
Is this home?

Better run from myself, better run...
I want you, silently forgiven.
I want you, the pain bestowed.

I feel a change in the air,
Outstretched to God, he fields the suffering
A feeling close to me, who closes in?
I knew I didn't have to go.

Feeding stop the hunger flat, low, living,
Caution for a lunatic...
Left her behind, god-damnit
She didn't have the luck to follow.

Well here's a little lie about the man she stole away
Night within a soul cries 'hallelujah' when your drowning...
Once, fast below, woman... Its fault is not your own,
And as you are to my world, my world shall always be to you,
You fucker...

Feed me, woman...

I want you

Watching that live clip of SYL makes me really depressed that SYL isn't around anymore. :( I'm glad I was able to see them twice, the first time being my most favorite show of all-time (an off-stop from Gigantour with 4 local opening bands, and then SYL playing for like an hour and a half or so in a tiny ass bar). Devin's so god damn funny.
