Hi Dev

i was just curious to know of the equipment youre using for Ki, such as that good lookin telecaster you have in those Namm pics for example. All sorts of stuff such as amps or other perculiar instruments you will have on the album are of interest to me. id love to know. if youd rather keep it secret however thats fine however.

Wow, thanks for that Devin. That was an interesting read.

By "Dev" ESP tele... does that mean a possible signature guitar with ESP?! I could be totally speculating ... :D

Definitely comes at a price...If it didn't I wouldn't be working a bunch of dead-end jobs and I'd spend all my time thinking music then making it. Now I think it and fiddle around for hours trying to get the sounds I want with what I have until I throw in the towel and cry myself to sleep.

How is Superior 2.0, Dev? I'm getting tired of the limitations of EZ Drummer...Is it similar to EZ drummer in terms of how its used?

Superior 2.0 is amazing. Really really incredible.

To clarify:

The price it comes at is being the asshole that I am. But I guess I'm supposed to make this music, so off we go.

I've got buddies that work at Nickelbacks studios that makes my trip look like a 4 track. I guess it's all perspective.

yip.

Hey man, 4 track technology is where it is at.

Or maybe I'm just living in the past...

Wow. I never knew so much equipment would go into one album.

And recorded in 10 different spots to say? Interesting :D May I ask where? :D

I realise that may sound creepy - I don't mean exact locations or anything. I'm just interested to know how being in different places generates a different feel, if that makes sense?

Must try it then! Hope I can get a better snare and kick sound out of it than EZ Drummer, its just so shallow!

I think I'm gonna have to try it aswell, I've been using EZ Drummer for a while now but I can't quite get the exact sound I want out of it. I just don't think you can do doom metal with it :(

Ezdrummer does Doom alright, I have been using it for ages now. The trick is to create your own midi files (the presets are too fast) and change the tempo to suit.
