As my wife said when i told her Devy had a child about the same time we had ours:

"Well neither of you are Strapping Young Lads anymore. Now just Crappy Old Dads!"

I just reached the explosive ending of the song Ki. iTunes says I've listened to the one song 730 times since I got it in the mail from preorder in early June :help:

I just wanna say that, after many listenings, this album makes me feel like none ever did. I'm less ashamed to be human when i'm listening to Ki. What can I say ?
You're an Hypergeek, you look to the future and tell us what you've seen.. you're kind of a prophet for me, Dev ..lol
Thanks you so much for your great great thoughts and work ! :D

This is possibly my favourite Dev album so far out of the 6 I've heard. It's an absolute pleasure to experience. It has so many highlights and is overall pure genius. Roll on Addicted is all I can say. If it's even half as good as this I'll be happy.

Still spinning Ki.

Still loving Ki.

Still discovering things about Ki.

I knew it was something massive on first spin but it really is an album that just keeps on giving, isn't it.

Ki is great to just sit down, close your eyes and think. It's an album thats really easy to get into. Favorite songs are Lady Helen, Heaven Send, Disruptr, Coast and my most favorite would have to be Terminal.

Terminal is beautiful.
Ki has such a neat feel to it, too.

Wash the red off this dead thread, right before bed, so I can rest my head, on something ligther than lead...

and to stay on topic, Ki should have more rhyming. :P

And you should use fewer commas.

I dont know if its just because the CD came out while I was reading it...

but Ki sounds like it would be a great sountrack to the movie The Road that is coming out.

The book has been out for a while and is an amazing read, and the movie is going to be great also.

Anyway, when I listen to Ki, I ALWAYS think about The Road.
