A Monday and Ki. Both put a huge smile on my face. Not that the others don't, but these seem to be breaking away from the list of 5 I posted earlier.

Now I'll have to try and figure where I'd rank Ki in the whole favorite albums by Dev list. Top half I'd say, but where...

Ki is amazing, but I had to go with Coast and Heaven Send. Heaven Send has such a slick bass line and is so dark without being evil. It's moody and intense. Ki is definitely #3 for me though, I fucking love that song!

I voted Ki and Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot - I'd love to hear some Devy Busking songs. His Devyness works in in strum strum land, I get the pictures in my head just as clearly.

- But it's tricky because there are moods within the mood of the record. I love trainfire, but I love the tail of trainfire, I love her voice as she comes back in, "you call my name", through Lady Helen, Ki, Quiet Riot, Demon league, all the way around to the beginning again, A Monday, Coast. (I'm on loop)

I love that mood

I'd like to put Terminal in there too, but there's the thing, I also love the first half of the album, A Monday to Heaven Send. The only two trcks that are outsiders are Ain't never gonna win and Winter, they're like an interlude but still lovely to listen to.

I love this record.

Lady Helen and Ki.

For some reason, I really connect with Lady Helen. I can sit here with that song on repeat for a couple of hours and not notice time float by.

Ki... I'm fairly sure the reasons are obvious, but I just find the song amazing.

My FAVS are Disruptr, Heaven send, Gato, Lady Helen and Ki. But I finally chose Lady Helen and Ki as my top two...they just blend into each other SO well imo.

Gato and Ki.

It's worth alot.

Especially to know that great minds think alike!

I still don't understand what the significance is of Quiet Riot though. Oh well, who am I to question musical motivations?.....i have some weird ones myself.

Those 2 tracks are so beautiful though - they're like the eye of the storm!!! Whooooaaa!
They're just unlike anything else I've heard from the Dev :)

That quote just made me laugh so hard. Very well said.

Terminal and Trainfire for me, at the moment at least. But when I first looked at the thread a few minutes ago, I immediately thought of Gato and Ki.

So - Kiminal and Gatfire it is, then ;)

I have been so wrapped up in listening to and analyzing my own music, I have totally disregarded Ki. It has been like a week! I must get back to worshipping....I am sorry Ki!!!

Terminal and Heaven Send... it was a very hard choice.

Terminal for the incredible ambience and atmosphere.

Heaven Send for a darkness, growing rage and awesome female vocals.
