The opening riff of "Addicted!" is one of the greatest album-opening riffs of all time. In fact, not just the riff, but the whole intro to that song. You just can't help making the sturgeon face and noddin' your head.

Chills down my spine every time I hear that intro. You just know something good is about to happen (whether it's the song or the entire album). Also, it brings good memories to mind, being the opening track at most of the gigs and all. Makes me think of when Dev leaned forward at the edge of the stage just to greet me and my friend (cuz we be speshul). Totally awesome and completely unexpected.

Yes.
In fact, it's one of the best concert openers ever written. At least the first minute - everytime the beat kicks in, it's like a lift to rockmusic's heaven

Not only do I concur, but this thread had given me as good a reason as any to listen to the song again.
