Olivier Messiaen. A french composer who lived from 1908 - 1993 was obsessed with colors in music. He had this condition called synesthesia or some form of it. I myself have little experience of colors in music. But Olivier was the greatest composer of the 20th. At least I think he was. Besides the music he was a very fascinating man too. For those who play or write music, check out the theory behind the things he did. And listen to his music for organ.

Here is a video of the man himself playing.

And this one...pure evil..maybe not but..

I LOVE Messiaen, especially his organ music. "Quartet for the End of Time", "Ascension" and "Le Banquet Celeste" are some of the most incredible music ever. His stuff is really powerful and intense and sometimes extremely dark, but it's so incredibly sincere. It reminds me of Devin in its fierceness actually...

Hey, is Addicted now what was supposed to be Deconstruction of A Cheeseburger, or is it something different entirely?

this sounds good! when did you write all those songs? in between producing other bands, or did you just come up with enough material for 4 albums spontaneously?

Yes this is true, and he did say sand and night.

Perhaps its just a metaphor for its vastness, and you can get lost in it, especially at night

Sand and Night? I nominate Arrakis, the wasteland desert planet, and also the most valuable planet in the universe.

I seem to be picking up on a lot of party-esque references, I see something upbeat... you've said lovely big chorusey songs.... am I far off with Vampira/ Far Beyond Metal type tracks?

You're leaving "Fucker" off the list of those tracks? The most danceable thing to ever be called Extreme Metal? :P
