I will have to go with Addicted version, even though my favorite part about the ZTO version were the "chugga chugga" chants in the background and they weren't in the Addicted version (at least not from what I heard).

The Addicted version had more drive to it and a lot more going on with it, almost as though it evolved. To me, it had a great sound. So I will choose Addicted by a nose hair.

Voted Hyperdrive! because I think Anneke's voice just sounds incredible in the song. But of course DT's voice is great in the first one. What I really like is how they each have their own context in the flow of each album, so there's no real need to classify it like that except as a single vs. single question.

It was a total treat hearing the familiar track in a really new way, one of my favorite first-impressions from the initial spin of the album.

The old one. By a mile. And several more miles. Several more thousand miles.

the cool thing is now listening to the original I hear Anneke's voice in my mind almost singing harmony. i still like the original better but not a bad "remake"

I like the way the poll is right now... Old Hyperdrive winning but only very slightly...

i like the new version better for the overall sound but anneke's voice seems to be altered with some vocoder tremolo or so. she has a great voice but on hyperdrive! they feel somehow artificial. dunno.
so i'd rather vote zto-version ... on the other hand the snare-sound on zto is almost unbearable.other than the snare zto is an awesome album.

I think what will be interesting since Dev hasn't toured since ZTO was released and most likely will be playing some form of Hyperdrive (I mean it's on two albums he hasn't toured for yet) if he'll be singing on what will be the Addicted version, if that makes sense.

Both are great. But i have to say, when Anneke starts in on the "Sail away..." part the second time, man, that is what music is all about.
